After May 28, the retail price for the printed book will be $12.95, and the Ebook PDF version will retail for $8.95. I’m randomly selecting one name for every 50 entries, and the winners for the free books will be announced on Wednesday. Pre-orders for both the paper version and ebook versions will be start later this week. Pre-order prices will be $9.95 for the paper version, and $6.95 for the ebook. The book will retail for $12.95 (full-color paper version) and $8.95 (ebook).

Just a quick reminder that the 2010 Spring Neuse River Cleanup is April 10, 2010. Jess and I have been running around town tonight setting up signs, and everything gets going around 8am. Hope to see y’all out there!

Visit the Neuse River Spring Cleanup page for up-to-minute details and update. Make sure to register [...]]]> Come on out to the Neuse River Spring Cleanup on April 10, 2010. Jess will be coordinating most of this year’s cleanup with the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation, and I’ll be one of the site managers for the Milburnie Dam Section.

Visit the Neuse River Spring Cleanup page for up-to-minute details and update. Make sure to register for the event ahead of time and join their Facebook Event page. There will be a free cookout for volunteers at Anderson Point Park afterward starting about 2pm.

From the Neuse Riverkeeper Foundation:

The Foundation expects nearly 500 volunteers will participate this time, including youth groups, church groups, civic organizations, college students and river enthusiasts. The cleanup will cover nearly 50 miles of river between Falls Dam in North Raleigh and Smithfield Town Commons in Johnston County.This event has become the largest single river cleanup in the State; over the past 7 years the Cleanup has collected more than 113,505 lbs waste and involved 1,663 volunteers.

The weather forecast for this weekend is perfect for the Cleanup. 70 degrees and sunny. Make sure to wear sunscreen!

[...]]]> Windy today, and a little frustating making time to be honest. Just 14 miles into Kinston, then ran errands and piddled for a few hours. 150 down, 50 to go. I’d love to have another month or two out here though.
