August 16, 2000 Hey everybody! Sorry we haven’t written in awhile, but we keep on hitting towns when then library’s aren’t open. Really! That’s not a cop out! It took a couple of days longer than we expected, but overall the trip has been fantastic. This area of Maine is supposed to be the roughest, most remote part of the trail and it has lived up to its reputation.
